Therapy PhilosophyThrough my varied experience and education, I have developed and refined my therapeutic skills into an approach that I believe works very successfully for many people. My focus is on creating a safe, warm, supportive, and non-judgmental relationship that will allow us to explore and resolve problems together. I believe a respectful, empathic relationship is essential for the therapeutic process to be effective. My treatment approach typically follows cognitive behavioral therapy methods (CBT). Each client has their own set of challenges and receives specialized treatment based on their unique needs. After over 25 years in my private counseling practice, I've seen and treated virtually every issue, mental illness, and relationship difficulty. You're not alone. |
